PlateCheck is a menu-scoring tool. We designed it to keep your data on your device wherever possible.

What we handle

Menu photos. When you scan a menu, the image is sent to our AI provider (Lovable AI Gateway) to extract dishes and score them. Images are not stored on our servers after the request completes.

Diet preferences and scan history. Your chosen diet, custom diet toggles, and past scan thumbnails are saved in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device.

What we don't do

We don't create accounts, track you across sites, sell data, or run advertising.

Your controls

Clear your scan history from the "Past scans" section, or clear your browser's site data to remove everything PlateCheck stored.
